Kittie's Kickstand Cafe is a branding project for a fictional bike cafe in Cambridge, MA. Inspired by Cambridge's own Kittie Knox. Kittie was an African American female champion bicyclist & seamstress in the late 19th century. She was known for her speed, style, and unwavering determination. I wanted to celebrate this unsung bike queen with a woman-owned and community centric cafe located on the bike path of her namesake.
